GAVI del Comune di GAVI
This wine, was created in the vineyards of Villa Broglia in 1989 to mark the birth of Filippo, Piero’s second son. The vineyards are situated within the Commune of Gavi and, due to their splendid position, they allow the production of top quality grapes. In order to obtain the maximum purity of taste, Villa Broglia wine is produced using traditional methods, grapes are picked by hand, carefully sorted and gently pressed before fermenting in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of less than 18°C. This wine is characterised by its fresh fragrance, fruitiness, with undertones of white flowers and a persistent reminder of almonds. An ideal wine for all types of Mediterranean dishes.

Bruno Broglia

Bruno Broglia
GAVI del Comune di GAVI
‘Bruno Broglia’ represents the best production of La Meirana estate. Obtained from the grapes of older vineyards planted in the years between 1953 and 1955. On average, the harvest in different vintages, from these vineyards has been between 30 to 40 q.lis per hectare. Grapes are hand - picked and collected in wooden cassettes before being transferred directly to the presses to ensure that the clusters arrive intact. Due to, the abundant structure and acidity, of these grapes we are able to obtain a truly remarkable wine suitable for storing; maintaining its fragrance and freshness over years. The name ‘Bruno Broglia’ is in honour of the founder of the agricultural company, the wine is acknowledged as a reference point for white wine production, and every year it receives both National and International recognition. In addition, it was chosen as the only white wine to be served to the world’s greatest leaders, at the G20 gala dinner in St. Petersbourg on September 5th 2013. Bruno Broglia has the colour of soft yellow straw with subtle sparkling green reflections: fruity with a fine long lasting bouquet, and a true reminder of the aristocratic grapes from which it originates. A splendid acompliment for fish based dishes, in particular those containing seafood and also with fine dining cuisine.

Vecchia annata
GAVI del Comune di GAVI
This great wine comes from the best vintages and the oldest vineyards of the Tenuta La Meirana- planted between 1953 and 1955- after a selection of the best bunches of grapes harvested by hand and taken to the cellar in wooden boxes. The 2009 grape harvest was characterized by regular flowering in the first ten days of June and a hot summer with significant temperature differences between day and night. Those conditions gave the wine a great structure, remarcable tastiness and intense aroms. This is how our "Vecchia Annata" comes to light after "sur lie" ageing in steel tanks for 85 months.

Roverello
Roverello
The name Roverello is a reminder of the young oaks in the woods that form the contours of the Meirana vineyards. In order to portray the youth and freshness, which distinguishes this sparkling Brut wine, the grapes are gathered earlier in respect of those for our other wines. We have produced this sparkling wine for over 30 years as indicated by our 1974 denomination. Roverello is produced to meet the desires and palates of the modern wine consumer who appreciates a sparkling young, irresistible wine, of high quality. A gentle petillant, is introduced in the autoclave to obtain/ achieve a connection which enhances the fragrance, harmony and the freshness of the wine. In the glass Roverello has a soft yellow colour with hints of pale green, it displays a crystalline transparency and has a distinctive fruity bouquet. The pleasant, clean and harmonious taste of this wine combines perfectly with starter courses, hors d’oevres and cold dishes and is also a suitable accompliment for cocktails, canapes and appetisers.
